Equipment/Facility Request for Command Recreational Functions

NAS Whiting Field commands and tenant commands can request MWR equipment and facilities at no cost or at a reduced fee for authorized command recreation functions.

NAS Whiting Field Commands and tennant commands are authorized the use of MWR Recreational Equipment and Facility use at no or reduced rate for authorized Command Recreation Functions and is available for download and to review.  Please download the MWRSOP-006 which includes the Equipment and Facility Request form for the support for Command Recreational Functions.

Return the completed form to Community Recreation located in Airdales (Building 1475).
Call the Community Recreation office at 850-623-7032 for assistance.

Equipment Rentals Available: Tables, Chairs, Grills, Canopies, Bounce Houses, Lawn Games and Sports Packs.  Also available for use at Whiting Park facility are canoes, kayaks and paddleboards.

All Equipment is first-come, first-served and subject to availability. Equipment reservations must be made in advance of the event and no later than 5 days before the event. Equipment provided at no cost may be picked up 72 hours prior to scheduled pickup date at the designated location. If a pickup time outside of the 72-hour window is required, will be addressed on a case by case basis. Cleaning, repair, replacement, labor, and/or setup fees will apply as per installation guidelines.

Please Note: Command functions have priority over general rentals. MWR supports commands in a variety of ways, including free rentals for their events, however we do not waive facility fees as that fee goes towards the staffing it takes to maintain the facility and general maintenance. Larger command events will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
